The Cost of
a Brow Lift

/

While a brow lift is a cosmetic surgery and typically not covered by insurance, Dr. Sherris makes treatment affordable by providing financing through CareCredit®. CareCredit helps patients break up the cost of treatment into manageable monthly payments.

Benefits of a Brow Lift

Reduce Signs of Aging

By tightening the brows and forehead, wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, and between the eyebrows are smoothed out.

Energize the Face

Frown lines and sagging skin around the eyes can give you a tired, angry, or sad expression. A brow lift helps you match your expression to your emotions.

Restore Symmetry

Wrinkles and sagging can appear differently across your face, creating an asymmetrical appearance. A brow lift can help restore balance to your facial features.

Traditional vs. Endoscopic  The Different Brow Lift Techniques

Traditional Brow Lift

While more invasive than an endoscopic brow lift, patients who wish to lower a high hairline can often benefit from a traditional brow lift. A traditional brow lift involves an incision along the hairline to remove excess skin and lift the brow. The re-draping of the skin creates a smoother forehead.

This technique can also be used to lower a hairline in a younger patient who has a high unnatural hairline.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

An endoscopic brow lift is preferred by many patients who don't wish to change the position of their hairline but only want to improve the forehead area. This brow lift method is performed by inserting a small surgical camera below the skin to aid in tissue repositioning. Small incisions are made, leading to a quicker recovery than a traditional brow lift.

Dr. Sherris predominantly performs endoscopic brow lift procedures since they are less invasive and offer a faster recovery.

Step-by-Step Process of a Brow Lift

Typically, patients who receive an endoscopic brow lift can return to work in about a week.
Typically, patients who receive an endoscopic brow lift can return to work in about a week.

Anesthesia

Dr. Sherris will administer anesthesia to keep you comfortable throughout your procedure. Local anesthesia blocks pain at the treatment site, and general anesthesia can be used to put you into a deep sleep.

Surgery

Dr. Sherris will make incisions depending on your brow lift method. With an endoscopic lift, several small incisions are made. Dr. Sherris will use the endoscope to soften wrinkles on the forehead and between the eyes. In a traditional brow lift, a larger incision is made on the forehead. The tissues are then lifted and repositioned before being sutured into place.

Recovery

Patients who receive an endoscopic brow lift will be able to recover faster than those who receive a traditional brow lift. Typically, endoscopic brow lift patients can return to work about a week after their procedure. Dr. Sherris will review all aftercare tips with you to ensure your recovery goes smoothly.
